We chose a Pumpkin Birthday Party for our daughter’s first birthday. We had pumpkin shaped cupcakes and pumpkin decorations. I love how it turned out.
She was the perfect birthday girl. She got excited and loved on every toy and told each guest thank you. I will cherish those sweet memories forever.

To give the kids something to do we drew faces on mandarin oranges to look like mini pumpkin Jack-O-Lanterns to fo along with the pumpkin party theme. It doubled as a snack so that was a win-win.

Here’s a quick DIY from Preppy Kitchen on how to use mini bunt cake pans to make these adorable Pumpkin Cupcakes. We used those chocolate straws for the stems. They were a big hit.

I made the “1” banner from jute twine and ribbon from my stash. I decorated it with buttons and diecut the number 1 with my Silhouette.
